This project was an extension onto an existing period property and therefore the majority of the early decisions were made from the architect’s plans. Gemma Tuersley worked with the architects and the kitchen designer to create this wonderful space. The original plan was to go for a black and cream sleek looking kitchen but after talking to the client and seeing the house and understanding the setting of the property we felt that it deserved a much more subtle and gracious colour scheme. We created the overall colour scheme and sourced the lighting, furniture and fabrics. Also being on call to help with the day to day decisions that come with a project, even down to choosing the kitchen handles, because it all matters. The result is a charming space that everyone would like to spend time in.
